Why Should You Choose Diploma In Education and Training?

The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET) is designed for students who choose to pursue a teaching career, as well as current teachers and trainers/counsellors. It is intended for those who serve or wish to work in the fields of work-based learning, advanced education, and independent Training Providers. This course will be used by entrants to the field as well as existing teachers who want to improve their teaching qualifications.

On successful completion of this programme the candidates will address all aspects of preparing, delivering, and evaluating integrated teaching and learning using an intellectual and realistic approach. Candidates will embed theories and values of curriculum and preparation by doing so, as well as explain them in their practise.

Entry Requirements For DET:

Applicants must be at least 19 years old.

At least one A-Level or Level 3 Qualification or similar, as well as four GCSEs in English and Maths with a GCSE Grade C or higher, or equivalent.

For the DET Program, the applicant must have some prior experience or training in the subject.

Applicants must have completed at least 100 hours of teaching or training and must provide evidence of verified employment.

Candidates without the above credentials are welcome to apply, and will be evaluated based on their job experience or technical qualifications. Get inspired and train to teach in England by gaining the QTS(Qualified Teacher Status).
